Wow that's a rough story dude,, am glad you're alrigh! A cars is a car, you can get another one. Humans aren't so easy to fix sometimes!

I had almost the same happen to my last Stang, an '86GT. Was sitting stopped in city traffic, I glanced in the mirror & see this Jeep Wagoneer come barreling down on me! The last few seconds I could see the driver is locking up the brakes but it wasn't enough. BAM right into my car. In my case I wasn't hit from the front too, & am glad of that cause 1 hit is enough, right? lol

The car was a write-off though [:@] I told the insurance adjuster I just (a month earlier) spent $2000 in fixing some rust & a complete high quality paint job and, they helped compensate for that a bit. Make sure you TELL them what your car has on it!

Very good to hear you're alive man. You can always get another mustang! From all the horrible accidents Ive heard about in mustangs or at least 94-04 stangs, Almost all of the people have either walked away, or had minor work done at the hospital....a lot of cars dont seem to havenearly that kind of protection.

well, I dont see why you wouldnt get a nice piece of change from all of this, at least from the honda insurer. that def isnt the most important thing right now, but maybe something to lift your spirits down the road. if there is a such thing as "luck" in this story, its that it didnt happen while being "reckless", i.e. racing speeding, so on. those accidents tend to be a lot worse than whats happened here, and someone else is being held responsible for all this. glad you're here to tell the story man, good luck with everything, and as far as the stang goes, they makem everyday!!

wow, all these mustang accidents are depressing. I said in another accident thread that all stang owners should be required to buy a winter beater, and the more accidents there are, the more i think we really should.

Im glad to hear that you're ok, i know how scary accidents can be.
Deffinatly get a good lawyer, and maybe you're looking at a terminator to cheer you up down the road!

dam... glad to hear your ok,...i would sue the driver, the town for not keeping the roads good and anyone else i could....must of been scary for those few seconds after you got rear ended, that you knew youwere heading into oncoming traffic.

with the money get another GT and a truck so the stang & you can stay safer during the winter
