Default brakes

I think i need brakes soon , The brake light keeps comming on every time I hit the brake pretty hard, and sometimes when i accelerate the brake light will come on . WHat does this mean

Sounds like low fluid to me. When you hit the brakes the fluid is pushed out of the resevior down into tubing and calipers, that empties your res. causing the wrning light to signal. A surge forward or backward of the vehicles motion can cause this as well. Use Dot 3 or better brake fluid and get that crap taken care of pronto. This is also a sign that your brake pads have worn down, causing the calipers to push in farther then normal to contact what pad you have left to the rotor, hence it will use more fluid then normal. Check on your pads and if you need new ones, change the pads before you add fluid, because with new pads the original fluid will rise back up.

i wish i could find the cobra front brake kit for cheap somewhere

What do you consider cheap? You can get a full front Cobra kit for about $600 in a lot of places.
