i don't mean to sound stupid or anything...but check your exhast manifold bolts....i had a bad tap coming from my '02 gt...i drove it soft for a few days till i could park it and check it out...i popped the hood to look and listen and thats when my neighbor came over and pointed out the busted bolt on my header....just throwing that out as a possibility...
He has oil on the #5 plug, read the thread man... Good lookin out otherwise!

I had the supercharger about 3 months. It was not dyno tuned yet. I was going to take it in 3 days before this happen. I was using a safe tune that came with the supercharger. It was a SCT tuner.

similar sound that i have, but mechanic is suggesting timingchain due to the location of the sound, we'll see tomorrow when he rips it open. due to the location of your sound, the fact its underneath...makes me think its the bottom end, i sure hope im wrong, and if not, at least you can look foward to a forged bottom end or a DOHC swap!

When I purchased the supercharger the tune was perinstalled into the tuner by the seller. They told me if I really wanted to get the max out of the engine I would need to get it dyno tune but there was really not a need to get it done because the tune was safe.
