is that the rear brake upgrade?... why would you waste your money front brakes do 80% of the braking...

Why would something that upgrades performance and appearance at the same time be considered a waste? True, most braking is done up front, however, rear brakes were shot and rotors needed changing...seems smart to me.

What kit is it? so you just moved the stock caliper with like an extension bracket? and then bolted up the rotor? If possible could you provide the product on the site?

Thanks,

Hollywood

I'm a little confused...

Did you do only the rears?

Yes, just the rears...haven't decided which front kit to get. Cobra or Bullit kits...around $400, or do the Baer kit...around $7-800. Ijust replaced the front pads last fall, so I will be doing them probably this spring. The kit includes 2 13" rotors and a bracketwith bolts to extend the stock caliper out and up. Need to have at least 17" wheels, although 18" will provide more peace of mind. I have seen this kit on most mustang websites as well as e-bay going from $250-300.

Anybody with drilled rotors - are they all this noisy or is something off? Sounds like card stuck in spokes.

Theres something wrong if they sound like that. My drilled and slotted rotors are quiet as stock.

yeah mine are quiet- although they are the fronts. My guess is that the axle tubes have about 2-5mm of play and they are making the rotors scrape the calipers then driving. That happened to me when I put in the 31 splines so I had to put 2 washers on the caliper braket to create a spacer.

I have read/heard that you have to pull the axels to install new brackets for larger rotors. Is this what you did?
