Default Need Midpipe Sugestions Please

My wife gave me the greenlight to buy approx $450-500 in parts. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what I should get. My sig sums up my current mods. I was thinking about a SLP or Magnaflowcatted-X. (SLP because they say that they are convertable to accomodate LT's if I ever decide to go that route) I want to stick to something I can install myself so that pretty much rules out gears. I have to go catted due to emissions inspections. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Nothing wrong with an slp x pipe. You looking to keep it stainless steel?Ive got a catted slp and have no complaints. Plus you can take the cats off after the inspection if you want.

Prochamber FTW, that is if you go with a chambered type muffler, if it is a straight through LM1 or LM2 then i would go xpipe, theyre all pretty much the same

I believe the SLP x-pipe will only work with SLP LT's, so you would have to pay $800 or so for the LT's. I don't think the extra price of SLP LT's is worth comparedto other brands likeBBK and MAC.

Personally I think you should go with the prochamber. It has a very clean sound compared to other h and x off-road pipes, and I think it is supposed to add a couple extra power over the others.

Also, since you plan on going LT's one day, the prochamber holds it's value really well, unlike someother mid-pipes. You could sell the prochamber and get back a nice bit of cash to help pay for the LT's.

That's why I was leaning toward SLP.

I see some people mentioning a Prochamber. I don't know anything about them.I have the straight through Magnapacks for my mufflers and someone said to stick with my original X-pipe idea if I had the straight through mufflers. Please explain the pros and cons of a Prochamber vs. an X-pipe keeping the mufflers in mind.

If you plan on going with LT's someday, get the SLP Catted X.
