im about to buy cobra brakes.....

which ones?

whats the difference besides the price?

American muscle appears to be down right now.

The difference is probably nothing but price.

A cobra brake swap entails:
FRONT:
Two new calipers
Two new rotors
(not necessary) Two new brake lines

REAR:
(not necessary) Two new calipers
Two new rotors
Two new caliper mounting brackets
(not necessary) Two new dust shield plates
(not necessary) Two new brake lines

You could just buy calipers for the front for about $280, and go some other place for rotors. I paid $75 each for my slotted and drilled rotors.

Just something to consider.

That's the way to go. Alot of members of the forum think you should upgrade to the Cobra size rotors and it's not needed. Spend your money elsewhere for a real performance upgrade. Basic GT owners can just get buy with aftermarket rotors (slotted or slotted/drilled) and be fine. It'll do it for looks (which I think is the main factor) and stopping power.
