Default Suspension help?

I have tires and am getting gears but I want to get something to stabilize the rear end.... Do sway bars work well and if so what kind should I look for....I also have plans for springs/shocks/stuts.

I only have a small budget.......less than $500.......so I was thinking more along the lines of sway bars but I will look into those....will they help more than sway bars?

Mach 1/Bullit sway bars. Larger diameter than the GT's. They give a noticable difference over the GT's little sway bars. They have them here. http://www.performancepartsinc.com/main.htm
A nice and easy low-budget sway bar up-grade.

Subframe connectors they solidfy the body, make it feel a lot better.. you can pick em up cheap...

You might be able to do SFC and Lower Control arms for your 500$ and it will help the car.. all around for cornering and straight lines.

You can get a set of upper/lower CA's for under $200, plus full length weld in subframe connectors for like $150 tops.. depends where you look.
