talk about a bad day. started thursday night installing 3.73 gears and my buddy finally finished today and brought my car back to my house. we drove it around for a little while to test it out then i dropped him off at his house and started home. i live about a mile from him and before i got home my car started making a funny noise. i thought my clutch was going out so i turned around and went back to his house. before i got there it started getting louder with a screeching noise and went dead as i was turning in. started it up and looked at my guages and everything looked normal. left it running for him to hear it and he said it does not sound like trans or clutch. popped the hood and looked around for a minute and i looked in the car again and checked guages and saw no oil pressure and shut it off. guess that sucks for me. it will still run so it isn't locked up. i hope the damage wont be too bad. it is an 03 gt with 29000 miles on it. my check guage light never came on so i hope i can talk ford in fixing it even though it is out of warranty. so everyone pray for me.

Wait a minute dude, your BUDDY just installed gears in your car, and it sounds like a screeching noise and you think it has nothing to do with the install???? BULLSH*T! I'm not sure why you wouldnt have oil pressure, but its awfully suspecious that it happened just after a gear install.

Do not tell the stealership that you just got gears installed. If you tell them that they will blame it immediately. All they need to know is that your car is making a funny noise and there is now oil pressure. That is it don't give them any reason to deny your warranty claim
