Default to much?!?!?

well i called the local mustang shop and they said to put springs on my car it is goin to cost me about $280 is that to much??? or should i keep shoppin around?

thats not bad. usually springs are between 200 250, and usually 100 dollars to have someone else install them.

in that case it's too much.....u can install them yoruself. autozone and a few places will rent u that stupid thing to change out the shocks and stuff.

$60 to buy an internal spring compressor and a pair of jackstands and it shouldnt take more than a couple hours...just watch the spring alignment so your car aligns when done

You dont need a spring compressor for the shocks or struts, but I would definitly rent one. You wont really need it for the back springs but the front ones are a different story. The worst part of the install is you have to take the front brakes off and disconnect the front sway bar, and neither of those things are hard really.
