$2k on install for PI cams and intake?
Am I being robbed by the shop or is that typiccal cost? The PI heads arent even included in that cost, thats just for the cams and intake manifold. Needless to say, I am not doing it, ridiculous.

I AM IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, I WAS QUOTED THAT BY A MUSTANG ONLY PERFORMANCE SHOP, THEY ADV ME TO JUST DO ENGINE SWAP BECAUSE HE SAID HE CAN SWAP 2 ENGINES IN THE TIME IT TAKES TO DO 1 SET OF HEADS.

Yeah me too. Plus you don't need to pull the engine it's just easier. I have my heads and cams off and my k member in tact and my engine is still sitting tight in the car.

i'd do the labor for 300 for the cams and intake manifold... thats a rip off for all of it.... maybe for the heads too it would be 2k but hell.... you can get ported heads and the intake and such for that price... then the labor... it is about 12 hours of work to get it taken apart and about the same to get it back together... depending on the type of headers you have.. i bet for me now, it would be about a 15 hour job complete... with the tools they have, its less... they are trying to reem you in the ***

While this won't help you with your installation prediciment, someone showed this to me for a PI swap. Quoted 300 hp after the swap? If that's true, well worth the money.I just figured I'd show you too.
