I raced my buddie's 99 LS1 3 times and each time he beat me by a car and a half. We were pretty much dead even through 3rd gear and on 4th he would pull. This was the day after I installed my MAC longtubes and MAC catless X-pipe. I have a K&N and a short throw. My clutch is screwed and it's tough to get into gear so that was slowing me down on shifting. My car also has 20' Foose rims that came on it when I bought it 2 months ago. I will be going to 18" bullitts so the the rotating mass will be lower.

His LS1 has long tubes, SLP ram air induction kit, and SLP loudmouth catback, catless Y-Pipe and a short throw.

My question is do you think 4.10s would put me ahead or dead even???? What do you think?

What do you drive? I think 4.10's could make up 1.5 cars in a 1-4 gear race.

Man that thing should RAPE you(like 5+ cars by 4th). He has at least 60rwhp(maybe more) on you. Is his car in good mechanical condition?

+1 The catfish is obviously lacking the good driver mod.

****ty looking or not(I like them) They are fast, and with full exhaust, they will outrun any bolt-on GT you can think of.

Hell, I'm tempted to say it would outrun any N/A 2v.
