i love my 98, its a got its problems but so does every car. and in response to the power, hit up a pi swap, and that will take of that no problem

FORD issued a TSB on the throw out bearing in the SN95's. The throw out bearing makes a squeking noise. When you put youre foot on the clutch it goes away. They all do it, unless you get the revised throw out bearing. I've put a million of them in.

Yeah! Your right. When I had my 98 it made that squeaking noise as well, until you step on the clutch. That was a little annoying!
