Default If your doing a cam post.......damn folks.

Ok I just have to get this off my chest. If you are doing a cam post a referencing cams DO NOT LIST CAMS as stage 1,2,3 ect......unless they are VT, anderson or staged built cams.

If they are comps, crowers list a number. They dont sell them in stages each cam has its own specs so if you expect help with it list it! for crying out loud. Not stage 1 comps! Hell I have a stage 1 toilet at home what does that mean......nothing! Even if your cam was sold to you as a "stage" please list the info with it.

Heres what I mean.

EX: Ok I have a supercharged motor and I just ordered comp stage 1 cams. Is this a good combo...........

Who in the hell would know comp makes tons of grinds for even PI and non PI and if they were purchased from comp they could even be custom ground.

While Im at it.......it was the invention of the wheel, not the rim..

sorry this just bugs me

I havent looked on there but I still dont see how stage.......whatever tells anything about a cam. They do list there info as well. I know comp makes an least 7 different cams for 4.5/5.4.....so theres just a few "stages" they must have left out.

I gotta go to class but later Ill post a list of cams/specs.

edit: oops lol
crower cams are the same as VT cams, and they are listed on their site as "stage 1-3 or 4" either high lift or low lift.

heres the linky
http://crower.com/cat/domestic/ford/...amshafts.shtml

they list stages, and they ahve 2 versions of each stage, one being blower, one being n/a, in both low and high lift sections.

Comp cams aren't the same as VT cams. They have different durations, liftsand LSA. Aside from VTs cams only the crowers on VT's site are listed in stages. Comps are listed by their part number.

its easier for some people to refer to the comps in stages...
alot of the people here are noobs and don't know anything about cam specs so this is how they remember a cam.
