I don't know where you live, but my LT install was 375 w/ the H-pipe.If you ask around, i'm sure you can find someone to do it cheaper than 450. It's a pain in the butt if you don't have that lift, but the guy who did mine knocked it out in about 5 hours.

Just drop the k member and leave yourself with extra time just in case, and yes you should get it realigned after dropping the k member.

what ever you decide to do, i am sure you already know, but if you don't...i would look into getting a starter shield also. you don't want your headers heating up your start after time and then having to replace starter, yet you can't get to starter with with long tubes with out a lot of trouble.

I installed mine took forever the first time.

However me and my friend just put a new tranny in; between the two of us the entire job took 18 hours. We had to take the LT's off to get the transmission out.

We were just going to try and tilt the motor to take the passenger side off.... like some people claim to do, but we were just like **** this and dropped the kemember instead.

I got mine realigned the first time, I havent this time; both times it seemed to drive perfectly straight anyways.

Heh if u pay to get em done youll save yourself alot of frustration
Wish I had a buddy who had done them before, I would have taken him up on it in a second. I could have used that $650 I payed for the install for something MUCH better... I know I got ripped off on the install, but most are still quoted over 500 for LT's.

I would go for it if you have a way of getting under the car, and have the tools. I know I would have....

I installed my longtubes myself, sucked real bad it took 2 days. we pulled the motor up almost all the way out, but i wouldnt suggest doing it that way. dropping the k member would be way easier.

lt's is one of themost difficult mods on our cars, that 450 does not sound bad at all.
