Exhaust suggestions **New Question**

RE: Exhaust suggestions
depends on what your state testing requirements are... do they put it on a lift and check under the car? if so, you're gonna need the cans there... if not, well, that's on you, your car, and your tune. As far as those two products, I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right link... but from what I saw one of the listings was for a 96-98, and the other was for the 99-04. The length of the crosspipe on your H may have a small influence on tone, but it's more about what will fit under the car. If I remember correctly, MAC ships their H's in two pieces, so you get to fit them under your car, then have the crosstube welded... this is a 'measure twice, cut once' moment, because if you cut that tube too short, you're SOL and have to buy a new one.
Also, how loud is 'a little louder'? You looking for a 1969 SCCA Trans-Am car? Or are you just looking for a car that lets you know when it's on? An O/R H, LTs and your catback are gonna sound good, but fairly loud... I have a MAC O/R H and SLP LM1s on mine, and she sets off car alarms at 25 meters.
