I've heard i can run 12.5:1 CR on pump gas. I was just wondering if anyone in here is running compression that high on pump gas. Thanks

That sounds kinda high for pump gas.. What kind of environment do you live in, temperate or hot/humid?? Can you get 93 Octane??

Why would you want that high comp? Are you going to spray it?

What's the highest octane fuel availble in your area? 12.5:1 with typical 91 octane doesn't seem a safe combo

That much comp is gonna make the cylinders hotter then heck and probubly cause detonation. You could spray it heavy to cool them but then the power will be too much for the stock R/A. I would stay around 10:1 for n20 and 9:1 for F/I

isn't the stock CR more than 9:1? forgive me if that is a stupid question but thats what I read in the stock head specs.

if you go with compression that high you can probably run 93 octane but will also need a Snow methanol injection kit.

Mine is 11.25:1 and I am okay running 93 octane, but it sure likes some 106.
