Default S/C or engine swap...whats your opinion

I have a 04 gt got some goodies on it...got 4 grand and willing to save up and do a little more...should i? through on a supercharger and be happy with 380rwhp or do a cobra engine/t56 tranny swap, do up the rear end and get a lot more hp?....whats your thoughts?

hahahaha.......where exactly do you plan on finding a cobra motor and the T-56 tranny for 4k

well i would save money, but there is a guy on ebay my dad found and he keeps posting diff cobra motor and tranny up every 2 weeks or so.some for 4500 and other up to 8600 they went for in the past month and a half. if i had to i would save up more money, not like i plan to only spend 4 grand ya know.

cobra motor + tranny + wiring harness, etc = 4.5k... im gonna say somethings busted.

well IMO I would save up and get a supercharger and a gear, that will be such an increase in boost from what your used to you wont know what to do, you'll have to learn how to drive it all over again

Buy a chevy crate big block and annihilate any mustang. I'd go with the 4v if you have the dough. Reason being, theres only so far you can go before you need forged internals and better bottom end anyway.

unless your planning on doing alot of track time the 4v is unnecessary, it is a lovely engine, but unnecessary. A built 2v with an sc is more than enough for a DD.

It's a hoax!!! Don't, by any means give the guy money!!! You'd be better off with a s/c kit on your 2v. Looking at your sig and your current mods, with a 8-10psi s/c you'd put a good bit of hp down. I'd say in the area of 410-420. And close to that in tq.
