Default Nitto wear

Check out these tires, they are used nitto drag radails. Are they worth a 100 bucks? The center tread is almost gone, but there seems to be almost a quarter inch of rubber left on them going by the tread on the sides of the tire. I already have some wheels to put them on and would only use them at the track. How will they hook being this worn down?

sorry about the crappy pic, it was made with a razr phone

hmm... really? I think the guy will take $75, and at over 300 new considering I am only using them at the track i thought it wasn't a bad deal, that is as long as they will hook being this old. How the tire will act is my main concern...

I have brand new 555R's (315's) and I am almost stock (just gears, waiting to install exhaust) And im not all impressed with how well they hook, There alot better then my street tires, but im not impressed... And those look pretty wore out, they might not even hook up.

I wouldnt get em - maybe for 25 bucks, haha...

The Nittos are a great d/r for a street tire... when they're not cold they hook up on my car pretty good... not sure why Rum.. is having so much trouble in his bolt on gt though... maybe its the Fl vs Ok thing.. i dunno...

If you're goin to get something "just for the track" invest in some mickeys or BF's... thats my opinion. Those aren't worth anything - on its last leg... Brand new they're 174 each...

ok tread pattern on a set tires thatare track use onlywont matter, tread is for channeling water, they will hook up just like a new set. i know cuz thats about identical to what mine look like and i hook up just fine.althoughthey probare worth 75$, you mightbehappier withnew ones. i pulled the 1.99 60' time after driving through the water box (morons didnt leave a spot to go around it), they are still good, not for the street but, if you wanttracktires invest elsewhere, but its just my opinion i guess.

ok maybe not 100 but several! at least 40 or 50. drop the psi to about 16 and they will hook, providing you can drive right that is, if not you'll have the same prob as rum is having, and then you'll try and blame it on the tires when its actually you. nittos are great tires, i love them. if they're 75 bucks get them. wadda you got ta lose?
