QUESTION FOR ANYONE WTIH A 96-98 GT PI HEAD SWAP?
I've got a 96 gt and want to doa pi sawp. my question is that i heard that the stock pistons can't handle the new compression ratio of the pi heads(raises compression to 10:1). if someone has got a pi swap done, i am wondering if you had to change your pistons? if you did, what kind and about how much? thanks

I haven't done the swap yet, but when I do I will use these guys: http://www.steenracing.com/portandpolish.htm#stage1 Appearently, you can achieve 300 hp when you use this set up. If you do go with it, post on here and let us know.
About your question, I haven't heard anything at all to support that. From what I have heard on here, the swap is simple and effective. They say it is kind of hard to go FI after you do it, but that's it. Just what I've observed.

You can't run large boost but you'll be fine 6-8 PSI and a good tune

yeah that is it. i guess i must have thought it true about the heads as well. thanks. what kind of boost do you have on ur car?

you say you got ur heads off ebay- was it the ones that i always see parkway ford selling or are they differnt ones? do you have them ported at all?
