I MIGHT be mistaken, but I am almost 100% sure you wont pass with that midpipe in Cali. I have the same one, and even though its catted, the cats arent CARB approved. If you wanted to hear Stingers with the H, here you go.. keep in mind that your 4v will sound deeper than this though.

Technically you will not pass with ANY aftermarket midpipe in CA, since they all take off the pre-cats. I have been kicking around the idea of getting the Pypes catted midpipe (Those cats are CARB legal) and taking it to see if it passes a sniffer test. If it does, great. If not, I would just have to remove it every few years. Of course, even if you pass the sniffer, you do run the chance of going to a place that does a very thorough visual, and that guy knowing how many cats a stang is supposed to have.

MAC!! Dude...the MAC catback sounds soooo narly on our Mach's. Especially with an MRT h pipe...thats gonna sound lower than barry white, man. Ditch those loudmouths. Bassani would also sound nasty with the MRT.

^Cobra with MRT hpipe and MAC catback...im sure the Cobras sound very similar to the Machs.

mac catbacks do sound very very good. if you dont' like slp, i'd say go for mac

dsg04gt has a great exhaust combo. The stingers with the MRT H is very deep. Mac will be deep too. But also consider the Steeda catback as well.... I'm not sure on the price of them, but they are very similar to the Borla Stingers. They are deep with the MRT H as well.

The old cars sound deeper because most are A) bigger engines with full exhausts and B) most likely have fairly aggressive cams.No matter what exhaust you put on your car its not going to sound like that w/o cams.
