Looks like you're not a gt owner for life anymore, but to each his own. That Camaro is a cool ride, but I still rather have the Terminator.
I want a terminator but they are a little to expensive for me right now. I respect them ALOT as well as any-other F/I Mustang. I just didnt want to spend the extra money out of my pocket to make mine fast. I broke even on the deal. + I had my stang in the shop once a month for a year. It all started with the rear-end going out after I bought it.

What problems did you have because so far most people say the 03-04 are pretty reliable cars?

I want to beat and ls1 with my 04 Roush! I have considered a 3.50 rear end, 6 speed, Ram air, exhaust, suspension, and a 5.7 liter 345 HP LS1. After 12 stressful, embarrassing months driving my mustang and brainstorming, I sold the Roush for two grand more than I paid and bought a 2002 Camaro SS SLP 1 of 403 made with 8,000 miles. I saw the light and hope all of you do too.
Do what?

You were considering mods that are either not part of reality (ls1 swap) or not even an option (3.50 rear end?). Its no wonder you gave up and just bought a LS1

I had a 1997 Camaro, black on black convertible, 6spd.... I loved it... but ta tell you the truth, I cannot say which car I love more... the Camaro, or my Stang! I have had a whole heap load less trouble with the Stang, but then it is WAY less miles than the Camaro, the Camaro was an impulse buy with almost 80k miles on her when I bought it! Hard to say, but I think I lean towards the Stang! In fact I would not trade this car for a Camaro! Not even an SS! The motors were just to damn hard to work on... but then I hear these motors are a pain as well! Im not so sure... in the Camaro I had to use a pillow so I could lay on the car to get to the back of the intake! either way my 1990 GMC truck with the 350 was easier than ANY new car you will but today!

I almost did that a year ago, decided forced intake was a better route.

I gotta respect that decision now being an LS1 owner... few mods to the LS1 beats a terminator, let alone smokes a GT and still beats a blown GT.

However, I am still partial to mustangs But it is the truth...
