Cracked intake manifold... anyone had this problem or have any advice?

the same thing happend to my cousins 2002 gt, he was all stock except for a flowmaster exhaust! he has the dealer replace it with anothe stock man. it was only a back and forth to work car.

Ok I finally got an answer from a dealership. They said that there was at one time an extended warrenty on it but it has expired. I asked him when it expired and he said last year.

Yea, They extended ones were April of last year if I remeber correctly. Maybe not April but, Early last year. I would also check out Texas Hotrods, they have one for about 700. That would be better than a stock one but, I guess money will decide it. Good luck

no i get the sense its 15hp from bolt on.... i dunno .. how bout trick flow.. and yea Ford dealers are full of retards. you are guranteed to get a diff answer from a different dealer, everytime!

The bullitt intake is completely useless as a performance mod on a boltons only GT. The only point of having a bullitt is a FI car (where you see gains) or running nitrous (so you don't have a plastic intake).
Unless you have quite a few mods its not worthwhile to get anything but the stocker. Intakes like the P51 etc are more for built cars, and currently the cheaper intakes (like the typhoon) do little or nothing.

I'm gonna look for the Trick Flow. I'll prolly just get the stock with the aluminum cross-over. I just thought that one from THR looked good. I'd rather get my heads ported and reconditioned for anywhere from 260-410 dollars.
