New here. Pic request.
Hi,
I'm new to the forums from the other side of the pond. I currently drive a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic w/ a 5.3L V8. I'm usually a GM guy, but am considering an '04 GT 5spd. I was just wondering if anyone has a pic of the underside of a stock GT. I'm looking to see how the stock exhaust is routed, and how I would be able to rig up a custom side exhaust. But... I just asked myself an interesting question. What do I do with the cutouts in the rear bumper?
A little info about the car in question:
Red '04 GT 5 speed. Grey cloth interior. 36,000 miles. They're asking $14,998. That's a red tag price. The car has been sitting on the lot for at least 60 days. I was thinking about offering $14,500. I can get about $1,500 over what I owe on the truck. That brings the price down to about $13,000. With no sales tax, and about 8% interest brings my monthly payment to about $270/mo. That's $100/mo. less than I'm paying for the truck. (More money for mods) Here is a like to where the car is: '04 GT It'll ask you print the page, just click cancel.
Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

that sounds like a pretty fair price. You can get a V6 bumper to get rid of the slots in the rear. I think they make kits for the side-exhaust too.

It would probably be a good thing to get a new bumper. You can see the top corner of the fender well is sticking out here:
