SOOO AWEESOME! but so close!
I know this shuld probably go in war stories or somthn, but i had to tell u guys here. Well im at a gas station by my girlfriends house and walk out from payin and there is this pretty nice lookn sorta riced out s2000 one pump ova and hes stares me down and wen he gets in revs it up and takes off, so i quickly follow. We get on a main road and from 3rd gear i pull past him pretty easily, and i realize my exit to the highway is comin up and hes getin on it too. So i stay in third goin around the ramp following him, and as soon as we merge we both floor it, and i let 3rd pull all the way then shift hard into 4th which we were CRUISIN!! and while doin so i blow by this guy, and then after awhle i shift to 5th and start ease my way down, lookn in my rearview mirror laughn it up at this guy!! i was pretty happy cuz i heard those things were quick, but any way i look in the mirror again and i see the red and blue flashing and my heart drops! im fumblin for the seat belt and tryn to hit the brakes, and then i see the s2000 move out of his way and im like **** here goes the liscense but then i see the cop pull behind the s2000 and i jus started laughing!!!! my smile still hasnt gone down, although i feel slightly bad for the guy i smoked him and hes probably getting a huge ticket, i mean we were easily doing 130, well that shuld hold me over for alil while i really gotta stop this street racing thing! but its sooo fun!

Cops always come down harder on the ricer boys because they are usually the ones who cause problems and wrecks. Around here I hardly ever see a nice car pulled over on cruise night, which is every weekend, but you always see the riced out Hondas and **** like that getting lit up. lol. It's funny. Maybe someday they will learn.
Nice kill though. The S2000's are overrated. They make an alright amount of horsepower I guess, but not nearly enough to warrant the price tag. The problem is they make peak power up about 9,000 RPM, so it has to be wound out pretty high to go anywhere. Some really low gears would make a huge difference in those cars. A stock Mustang will easily smoke one off the line though.

maybe they get pulled over cuz the american muscle jus sounds so much better then rice fryin! lol, well i looked that the speed wen i was shiftin into 4 and it was around 110 115 but my speedo is also off 5-10 mph slower, cuz of the trans i put i, but after i shift 4th i let that pull for sometime, so idono i was guestimating 130-140? but my radar detector didnt go off till i was slowin down

Yeah thats totally true, I got my 8pt ticket test driving this riced out 92 civic for a friend. Im still waiting to go to court for it, getting a lawyer. It was excess speed, 55 in a 30, he really came down hard on me, i was like wow.

Nice one and that must have really had your heart goin. Kinda off topic but what do you top out at stonemonk? I thought somebody had said 4.10s make top speed better but i top out at like 140? u made it sound like you still had lots of gear to use at 140.
