Default Decided!

So I have decided. And I'm going to do Fox Body shocks in the rear. I'll be doing them tomorrow. Anyone know how hard this is to tackle. i've only ever done shocks on trucks. And haven't gotten a good look at the shocks on the stang.

Also, I decided to go with the Fox Body shocks in the rear. I already have and eibach Prokit. Anyone know exactly what i need to ask for at the parts store? Thanks in advance guys.

Just get the monroe sensatrac shocks for 93 fox they are like 26 bux a piece. Shocks are easy. Go inside the trunk first and undo the nuts on top of the shock from the inside, this way they will not spin around on you etc. Then once you have that off lift the rear up enough to let the tension of the shock so that you can wiggle it. Use socket or box wrench whatever you prefer to take each side off and reinstall everything the same way. Thats how I do it...

So i have to take the trunk stuff out first undo the top, then lift it up? seems pretty simple. Do i buy the shocks for a 4 cylinder fox, or a gt?

Buy them for a gt, and it's really simple, it'll make your life much easier if you have air tools..

Well, i just finished the rear shocks! Install was really easy! And I dont know if it is just me or not, but it seems to sit lower, and squat more when driving spirited. All in all, i recommend these! Next is gonna be the front struts, and that seems like its way harder to tackle then this was.

It's actually not much harder, again would be much easier if you had air tools and a lift.. But still can be done. Have you checked out the sticky emann made about swapping the stuff out.. It's pretty good help.

Why put fox body shocks on one? Are they shorter?

They are shorter to compensate for lowering the car..
