Advice On Flowmasters

RE: Advice On Flowmasters
With just Flows it'll sound good, w/o an o/r midpipe it'll sound amazing. Forget about people telling you about the drone, that doesn't bother me at all, nor anyone who has ever ridden in my car. They all love it.

I have flows and a mac o/r h. I havent ever noticed this horrible drone that everyone talks about. It does drone about 2k, but only for a second or two. I can still have a decent conversation with someone and not have to shout over the exhaust.IMO they are the best sounding mufflers out there, and for half the price of borla or bassain, etc.
Everyone says the flow dont flow very well, but really its the pipes and cats that stop up your exhaust flow. Any cat back might do good to add 5hp, so it really doesnt make a difference what brand out flows any other.

I have decided to weld in the Original 40 series and keep the stock H-pipe. I have read alot of posts about the drone but is it really that bad or will getting the Delta Flow 40 series make a difference. I want the best sound. Help Please.

i have the jerry rigged stock H w/ longtubes and no cats - its sounds nasty - but I was hoping it would get even better w/ FI and a new H - what do you think, will it get louder with more air pushing through?

Congrats!... LOL! You did right by getting the Flows! Flows sound best IMO. Next, I recommend getting a Mac O/R H=Pipe or a Prochamber. The midpipe is holding you back the most. Lose it. And getting one of these two mid pipes will give one of the best sounding exhaust set ups IMO.
