Default X pipe

Okay, im going to get my bassani x pipe soon.. probably within the week. I know after the 6 cats are gone its gona sound ALOT better, but how much of a performance upgrade will it do, if any? Also.. im installing them myself and i was told the passanger side is gonna be hard to get to for some reason? Can anyone tell me what i need to do it?

ALSO: Im getting LT headers soon.. This mechanic said that putting them on are verry hard. What do you guys think? I heard i might have to drop my front end to get those on.

if you get longtubes you'll have to replace your x-pipe again. No the bolts are not hard at all as long as you have a swivel and an extension - and you soak the bolts in pb blaster or something for an hour at least. x-pipes are probably the biggest performance mod you can do other than longtubes or cracking open your valve covers. And yea, longtubes are a b!tch on a 4.6

Why not try and get maximum performance out of what is pushing the gears instead of having the half the performance pushing good gears? Makes no sense to me.

Most people want to get maximum performance for money invested especially if on a budget one mod at a time, major mods include gears or headers because they usually require pro installation or at least some help more than the amatuer bolt on guy (like me),
gears make a much bigger difference hands down over LT headers ask anyone who has done both they fell the gears more and see much better ets as a result. I got almost .5 off my 1/4 with 3:73s and less than .1 with long tubes, I added them last.

Yeah... but then you had to spend an extra $400 for the tires to make those 4.10's grip. So in the end... on a budget I think the headers will be a better investment!
