Is a new shortthrow shifter a good worth-it mod....wich shifter is the best for my 01 GT

I have an MGW.I think itwas a good investment. Huge difference from the stock pos.Never miss a gear now it`s awesome.

I want one that makes it easiest and quickest to shift with out modifying my car in any way...is the MGW one the ticket for this or is the steeda tri-axe a good one

Its easy. It comes with directions incase you need them, but don`t worry you`ll be fine. When changing the shifter that`s also a good time to change your fluid as well.

It wont help your 1/4 time. That all depends on how you drive. It will make the car more fun to driveandmore easy to shiftespecially if you get gears.

This is definately a worthwhile mod. It's definately a mod I would do at the very beginning because it's gonna make you enjoy driving your car so much more. Go MGW or Steeda and you'll be happy. It's really easy to install, just make sure you get a shifter gasket for the install, it'll make it a lot easier and almost foolproof.
