Default lower my 96 gt

i am going to lower my 96 gt and was wondering what all i needed???
i am pretty sure all i need is new shocks, new struts, and some lowering springs, and if this is all i need, do you think this is a good combo??? and this combo also only lowers 1 - 1 1/4 inches so i wouldn't need any cc plates, correct???

Check this out: http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=275

I got this for a bit less, but that doesn't matter. I still think it is agood price. I really need to install it, though! This is the whole setup and it will lower you about an inch. Nothing else riquired. Just thought I'd show you.

yeah i was going to ask about that as well because i saw it at stangmods.com,
if you haven't already bought it then its $10 cheaper at stangmods.com,
of course you only save about 2% that way, but thought i tell you about it
and when they say it lowers 1 inch, does this really mean it lowers 1 inch, or is like when they say you can 50 hp from a cai.
LOL

if u are only looking for a 1-1.5 drop i wouldn't even do the shocks or struts unless they are completly shot

i am getting 2" DZ springs here shortly and i am not doing the shocks or struts(but i will need the cc plates)

my shocks and struts are going to have about 80,000 to 85,000 miles on them, do you think i need new ones??? and this might sound like a dumb question, but how do i know if they aren't good anymore??? and how much do you think the installation would be on just springs??? and then on shocks, struts, and springs???

i wouldn't think that ur stuff would need to be replaced unless u do a lot of rough driving with it, and do the springs urself, just research it, it reallly isn't that hard
