that sucks. same exact thing happened to my 98 gt about 3 weeks ago.
i got 8900 back from insurance. i paid 5100.
got an 02 gt w/ 70k miles for 10k. not a bad upgrade.
my airbag never came out, and the seatbelt never locked, so i filed a complaint w/ Ford, and they requested all the info.
i might be getting a nice little settlement due to the fact i smashed my face on the windshield
and hit my chest on the steering wheel so hard that it acctually bent it about 20degrees.
im still soar and hurting, but at least your alright.
cars are replacable, your not. hopefully you get something nice like me.

yes, it acctually pushed the engine against the firewall, and the trans back about 5inches.
i was taking out my short shifter, and man im surprised i walkled out of that.
i was in the hospital for a good 5 hours. i dont remember anything. i had a pretty bad concusion.
