Default is a 4.6 wider than a big block 460?

i read it somewhere but don't know if it's true or if anyone ever dared puttin' a big block in a new edge.[sm=interesting.gif]

the width usually isnt the issue since the heads on the 4.6s are pretty big. The normal problem is the engine height.

i'd like to know if i get a new k-member if it might be possible with some minor fab work,,,just so everyone knows why i'm interested in something as unorthodox as a 460 for a daily driver it's mostly because i have 3 stop signs between my house and the shop and moroso is a 12 minute drive away......soooo may as well build something.....unorthodox.

.....so i guess a 427 with a roots blower and block huggers would fit nicely under a 3"cowl"?[sm=goodidea.gif]

I can not believe we way 600lbs with aluminum heads and a plastic intake same as an FE big block no way?
