Default WHAT to do first?

Hey I just bought a new 04 GT, manual. What should I do first, I have heard many suggestions and I am looking for some accurate information on how to make power safely.

I would do a cat-back exhaust first. That way if you are worried about warranty issues, it provides some "peace of mind".

Get the car to sound like a Mustang should, and then decide on what you want from it in the long run.

I was thinking about the x or pipe also, what company do you suggest and do you know if there is a company that I can use and still keep my warranty.

If you change your h pipe, you will lose Ford's emissions warranty (even if the new pipe is catted), but it's worth it IMO.

That's Ford's "official" stance but you might still find that your dealer will work with you.

Gears are fun too.

Well if you want to keep your warranty then you will have to keep it stock. Ford doesn't move with anything around here. Bums.

It's not Ford thats the problem, it's your dealership that gives you the hard time.

Like MikeHawke said, dropping from 4 cats to 2 cats will void your emissions warranty.

^ what he said. Also, unless you get into the engine, they can't void your warranty because of minor bolt ons.

Do a catted X pipe and good quality catback *coughs...Magnaflow*

I just installed the Steeda CAI, and traix handle, I just ordered off EBAY Magnaflow Mufflers, and the Bassani OFF-Road X-Pipe with the MIL Elimnators.
