Default Autometer Gauge Pillar install

i have an 04 Gt and i was wondering how you are supposed to install the autometer pillar.

You are suppose to just put it up over the other one, I had to take mine off and just get some screws to screw it in to part of the roof. Double sided tape may work good.

is it a full length pillar pod? like for 3 gauges or a partial 2 gauge pod

If it is 3 then you take the exsisting off,if it is two then you mount it to exsisting which you need to take off anyways....

Just slide it over and put it under the rubber molding; then i just glued mine to the rubber strip becuase I didnt want to drill my stock pillar.

only get one that covers the entire pillar. I bought the autometer one for verts off of Summit and it looks like ****. Doesn't fit worth anything. There are gaps everywhere and my AUTOMETER GUAGES don't fit all the way in...

So I am buying the speed of sound one for convertibles as soon as it is off of backorder.

ok so its the 2 guage one yes a-pillar so i should take off the factory one? or leave the factory on and put it on top? if i take the factory off i either have to drill or glue it? what should i use to glue it?
