Best Blower for SN95 Cobra

RE: Best Blower for SN95 Cobra
Vortech seems to be the supercharger of choice here.
It's important your car is intercooled & has a safe tune. 450RWHP might be pushing it too much. I'd suggest staying around 420rwhp.

I have a 97 cobra, and I think that if I ever have the time/money for a s/c I would get a twin screw/roots type. Cobras dont realy have amazing tq low in the powerband, so I think instant boost would be beneficial. However, they are more expensive. You'll be happy with any f/i i would imagine.

RE: Best Blower for SN95 Cobra
The answer to your question is going to be extreamly subjective and stipulative... The stipulation being whether you are willing to do some work on the internals of our mushy/unfriendly to boost engines (non forgedparts and relatively high compression). I would like to know if it is even possible to put any blower on the 4.6 (non-terminator) motor and make this 450 RWHP without blowing the valves out ofthe exhaust pipes or having your cyliners shoot out of the top of your hood. I like what the Kenne Bell has to offer for the stock engine set up... They are not really the ones to go with if you are willing to do some work to your internals though... Theremany blower manufacturers that give you tons of differentoptionsfor making boost. I would just say that I like the twin-screw type blower for it's ability to make power at lower RPMs. Find one that you can intercool and increase boost levels and you are golden...

Well procharger has an awesome kit for like 4k it has EVERYTHING.....intercooler, procharger(duh), injectors, tuner, fuel pump, all piping, and anythiing else needed...so im leaning towards that and ima try the safest way possible to get 450rwhp without touching the internals...
