Default true or not?

im talkin to this guy who just got his GT taken away from him and is looking for a v6, and he just told me he wants to put a 03 cobra supercharger on it. i told him that those only fit v-8s and he says it fits on 99-04 v6s, says he learned it from 3.8mustang.com? or does he just not know what hes talking about

Cobra superchargers fit on Cobra motors, not gts, not v6's, not your moms mini van, unless any of the above had a cobra motor swap, particularly 03/04 motor, if thats what your talking about, an 03/04 supercharger. I dont even believe that supercharger unit would fit any earlier year cobras, due to a different head design, i may be wrong on the last part.

I think the blower itself might fit but he'd have to have the intake manifold off of a t-bird supercoupe. He'd be better off looking for a supercoupe s/c from a t-bird at a junkyard.

yeah once he said that i just started laughing because immediately those 4v heads came to mind compared to a v6 head? i just went along with it n didn't know if it was true since he mentioned how he learned it off some sight, but maybe its what the one guy said maybe just the blower itself fits..

If it's on the internet it has to be true. I have never seen any bad info on the Internet especially on MF.com
