hopefully got some 3.73 or 4.10 :-D I'll have to do that driveshaft check thanks man, only other way i knew to check was couthing teeth on the pinion and ring then doing some math.
going to mod this 04 and leave the 06 for a cruiser.

uhh...
I have the same car as you pretty much, stock gears, SO:
5th gear at 1000 RPM (or lower) should be approx 1100 RPM, 70 in 5th should be 1900 RPM, 80 should be 2100ish (drone zone [&o]darn flowmasters). 55 should be 1400 RPM or so. Just trying to pull those numbers from my head. I drive my stang home in a few hours, send me a PM if you want me to watch what some of the rpm/mph combinations SHOULD be if it has stock gears.
