just wondering if it is hard to change the tranny fluid i have not had it done in a while and wondering if i could do it myself or if i should just pay to get it done. thanks

5 speed i assume ?...its easy man...just get up under it and take the fill plug out first,if you take the drain plug out first and cant get the fill plug out..your gone cuss out....get some ATF and fill er up...nothing to it

i did mine while installing my MGW short thow, because you can pour it in through the top of the tranny when the shifters off.

ATF will work in our trannies because they need an additive that comes standard in ATF. I used Royal Purple Synchromax.

its easier to drop in the fluid from the top through the shifter, if not you have to pump it back into the tranny. ATF is correct
