I know this sounds like a dumb question, but how the crap do you put the stupid thing on? It says that it is a universal shift ****, it'll fit anything. It came with 4 plastic casings and no instructions. I have tried to put all the casings on the shifter and they don't fit.

thos plasic clips go over the red circle i made in this pic... find the best fit for it.. take it off then puut it in the ****.. then just screw the **** on until it is tight.
