squeaking problem help!
If you sprayed WD-40 on your tensioner while it was making the noise and then the noise suddenly stopped for like 1 min, that is a sign right there that your tensioner is making the noise. WD-40 wont keep it quiet for too long, since the bearing in the tensioner is spinning at high rpms, it will burn the liquid up and continue to make the noise. If you are sure that you sprayed the tensioner pulley, where the arrow points in the pic above and the noise suddenly stops, then change out your tensioner and problem should be solved. Now I am not telling you 100% that is the problem since I am not there to diagnose it, lol I dont want you getting mad at me if that wasnt the problem but im 95% sure it is. Goodluck
If the belt is the one squeeking due to being too loose since you say its new then your tensioner isnt tensioning enough, in other words the spring on the tensioner is worn out, change your tensioner.
is there any way to be sure of this? i dont wanna fix it and it not be broke. the belt definitely doesnt feel loose at all and i can put a wrench on my sc pulley bolt and turn itand all my pulleys including crank, spin
