Default squeaking problem help!

ok i have a problem! there is a pulley(or its my belt)in my engine bay that is squeaking loud! and everytime i think i have fixed the squeak its fine for like 2 min and then it slowly comes back first it sounds like a pulley is comin off. then its gets loud and sounds like my belt. i just put on my blower not too long ago and i think that might be it. has anybody had this problem?

what i mean to say is i think that it might be an idler pulley goin bad. O and the blower pulley is not dead in line with everything. its off a lil bit. but i cant figure out why and it didnt start doin it until after about 150 miles of drivin.

Try removing the belt and hand spinning the pullies to identify which one can be making the problem.

that wouldnt work cuz it doesnt start til around 1500 rpms and it gets worse from there

Ok, get some WD-40 lubricant and spray it on the belt while its making the noise. If it stops, then replace your belt. Usually when its a bad belt, the rubber will be kinda hard or you might see small cracks within the ridges. If it keeps squeeling then try spraying each pulley, WD-40 has a way of getting into those tight places and you might be able to find it that way, although a pulley really wont make a squeeky noise, will be more rough and a lower tone. It can also be that your Tensioner has lost its tension (btw tensioner is the pulley you move with ratchet to remove belt). If tensioner is bad, then you would have to replace that, not a hard job.

ok well i dont think the belt is bad since its new. it came with my kit. i dont think its my tensioner either cuz when i sprayed wd-40 it quit 4 like 1 min and then started again.
