Default vibrating at 60mph +

Can anyone help me out and let me know why my car rattles your teeth at speeds oover 60mph? I've already done the obvious and had the tires balanced. This is a constant problem, doesn't matter what the weather is, etc. I have a 5 spd '04 GT.

Mine is doing the same damn thing, but it starts around 40mph, starting with the steering wheel and then moving to the entire car at around 60. I've had the tires rebalanced and everything, I can't figure it out. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

you could just deflate the tires to 10 psi....should absorb some vibration[8D]

just kidding. My car does that too...usually the wheel and shifter vibrate at freeway speeds (or at a traffic light......hmm) Yes its a 'sports car so what do you expect' but damn man its not confidence inspiring at 80+

i think you missed the part about "rattling your teeth" vibrating. any loose change rattles, etc.
same here, i'll feel in the steering wheel first, then the whole car. yesterday it was so bad that i thought i was riding on the rumble strips on the highway.

balance and alignment both done. i'm actually just gonna go to the dealer and let it be their problem. it's under warranty anyway.

A problem with warped rotors is quite noticable under moderately hard braking--however they could be out of balance if they are old or some el-cheapo brand. I took a pair of inexpensive front rotors off a friend's ;02 GT and we found one weighed almost 3 pounds more then the other.I had a pronounced vibration on my '03 GT at 45-50 that was absolutely tire balance related, even after having the balancing done 3 times. I identified the offending wheel (left front) and had the tire dismounted. We then spun up the wheel to make it wasn't bad, thenremounted the tire rotated 90° from the original position and rebalanced--problem gone...
