Default Caging a vert.

Ok, so I'm way far from this stage of the game, but I was getting my build list together the other day, and came across this option. Has anyone ever seen it done on a convertable, or know a company that sells cages for it? I've talked to a couple of people and they said caging a vert is damn near impossible, but doable. Anyone have any info for me I'd be greatful, I'd even get you a cookie! Thanks as always for the help!
