Default headers

I have a 99 mustang gt, and i am new to modding cars. i want to do some stuff to this car, exhaust, cold air intake, maybe a few other things. my question is about headers. most i have seen for 99 gt in magazines or catalogs will only fit manuals. i had to go with an automatic(wife uses it sometimes) and would like some suggestions on what i should put in mine. thanks in advance for any responses

dude for the price u would spend on a quality set of headers and then the price of installation (or if u plan on doing it yourself) u might as well go out and get a cheaper offroad x pipe and catback exhaust. but if u insist on gettin headers make sure u get lockin header bolts. trust me, without them u'll always some little type of header/exhaust leak. i'm going through that problem right now. i think the leak is gettin louder.lol good luck. ps: headers r expensive and hard to put on with out a hoist.

Hooker (by Holley) are very high-quality and are easiest to install. BBK are also good.

Does anyone know of "HTS" coating by MAC long tube headers? Is that ceramic coating? If not, is that better or worse than ceramic coating?

I installed my own headers and off road h pipe. I only needed a floor jack and patience. I used BBK ceramic. Get sound. I was told that these fit both standard and auto's. I have NEVER had a header leak(installed over 8 mnths ago) trick is to retighten after a good day of driving after that no leaks. if your desire i can give tips on install

By the way, I searched for long-tube headers by Hooker(Holley) and could not find them for my car anywhere. I have 2002 4.6L 2V SOHC... I could not find the damn long headers anywhere! If someone finds something please help me....!!!
