Does anyone know if Hooker long-tube headers can be used with a Bassani X-pipe with cats through bolt-on application? How about BBK long-tube headers fit with bassani x-pipe with cats?

I'm asking because I do not want to have to weld anything...so i want to know which is the best header-xpipe combination...thanks

Most X/H pipes are intended for short headers. You would need a short X/H pipe intended for full-length headers. Not sure about the different brands being compatible.

Wait, you're saying that I wouldn't be able to let's say have a bassani X-pipe with cats linked with any type of long-tube headers??? u sure?

Why not do a bit of hacking if the X pipe is too long?

Or, weld an intermediate pipe between the collector and cat for the X pipe?

Are there any drawbakcs from shortening the x-pipe be hacking it? I really don't want any problems and a waste of money by having a hacked x-pipe to sell..Does anyone have long tube headers with an x-pipe? Please tell of your experience...

Default RE: headers

Mac HTS=High Temp spray paint and is not the same as ceramic. There ceramic headers are great! I belive they make the most power to. Also you cant beat the price for the ceramic's, that what I have and I love um. I was told that you cant pull the tranny with out loosening the headers, FALSE. The mac headers have been great and there finish is just as good as any other IMO. I cant say enough good stuff about them. If you realy want to max out there performance use a Dr. gas X pipe with them, it is made to work with the mac headers and also sounds great and makes good power. Good luck with whatever you choose.
