No, the air silencer is the piece connected to the airbox that goes into the fender well.

If your airbox has a hole on the side closest to the fender, then yeah, its gone.

Removing the air silencer is the best free mod ever! A tiny bit of throttle responce and it wakes up the exhaust a bit.
