Default supercharging semi high miles

So i have a 2000 mustang gt with 80k miles on it. Would it be a good idea to supercharge an engine with that many miles and how long would it last as a DD?

Why not? If you've owned it the whole time you know your driving habits. If it's new to you, get a compression check

Sorry to rob your thread but it fits my question. My engine has 145K would that be too many miles and what would be a good comp. number?
