I wouldnt give 2 squirts of **** for a plastic intake. Aluminum crossover or not. Mine busted on my first GT, and my buddy's 03 with the Al crossever crapped out too. I hate um. We've both got Aftermarket non plastic intakes

I'm just lucky I guess as i'm still on my stock plastic crossover PI intake...Its only a matter of time though lol.

The plastic intakes suck. The one on my 96 cracked, and the one on my 03 cracked as well. Luckily, when the intake on the 96 cracked, it was still covered by warranty, with the 03 I wasn't so lucky. I replaced it with an aluminum one.

I'm surprised one of our vendor sponsors have not gone with a true group buy for an aftermarket intake.
If they gave a good enough price on a quality piece I'm sure they would move a few with all the active members on here.

I'd love to replace mine but just waiting for the right price on the right piece to come my way.

In the May 5.0 Mustang there is an Article about it, Saying it gives 20whp. But i dunno, Havnt read the ARticle yett, (the cover of the may issue was on a lil card trying to get me 2 subscribe to another year of 5.0mag and i saw it up top)
