i hope this is the place for this ...like i said i son bought a 02 gt vert and he said on the drive home from buying it it seem to be fine,, now driving in town he thinks its useing too much gas , he said he filled it up and and now its ona half tank with 50 miles ,,, is there some thing we can check before we take it in ,seems not right ????

 

Are there any leaks? Check by the filler neck where it meets the tank. Or the guage could be off.

 

maybe he should stop gunning it at every stop light.

 

 

we are going to try cleaning the MAF and see what happens
