Did you oil the seal first?

If you didn't silicone the key then you will always have a leak and it won't be the seal. Its the same on either crank, good luck.

After I installed my Steeda pullies Ive been getting an oil leak inside my damper. I didnt silicone the keyway, so I guess thats why. And also explains why there was silicone on the Center bolt when I took it out. Thanks for the info FDNY...

your seal is more than likely still good especially if it has oil flowing past it to lubricate it..lol Just clean as much oil as possible because the silicone will not stick to a surface that's contaminated wil oil!!!
