Default Fox lake P-51/TrickFlow intales

Saw my first P-51 today in MM&FF and was quite impressed. Perhaps I can find a review on a google search? I know it is more race oriented but I also thought I read it helped throughout the rpm range. Then I also saw the TF was finally out but have not heard much about it though there was a lot of anticipation. Have I been asleep? Is there still nothing that guys are jumping on as the "best bang for the buck intake"?

Twin blade is to follow along with a 5.4 liter version later this summer. Anyone tested it yet? Mark

I dont think anyone has tested it yet. Its supposedly in summits newcatalog, not on their website. Heres a pic, there are more out there. The lower part looks to be removable. I jacked this pic from another form [8D]

It's not really worth it to replace your intake when you have an otherwise stock motor. All those aftermarket intakes make all their power in higher rpm's then where a stock motor can reach. You might see a few hp gain but I've also read about people losing hp.

Fox Lake will put out a sloid 17hp on a stock GT. It is a perfect part for getting a cam that isn't too big to keep the lower end off the line because the intake will pick up the lost hp that the cams won't produce on the upper end! I spoke to the owner of Fox racing and he told me to go with that set-up for excellent streetable use! I was planning on doin a pi swap, but din't wanna to my 75kmi motor. Getting a new motor next year or a new car???????
